Coming Soon: Frank Turner and Dive Dive interviews, plus reviews

Posted on December 5, 2010

Sorry for the lack of updates recently, but university deadlines reared their ugly head and took away any of my spare time. However, to celebrate on Friday I headed to 53 Degrees in Preston to interview Jamie Stuart of Dive Dive and singer-songwriter Frank Turner. I’ll be posting them both on here, and will also be trying to freelance them, so they could just be up for a limited time.

For now, to get your Frank Turner fix, check out my thoughts on his key tracks here.

Jamie Stuart spoke Dive Dive, the rest of the band’s side-project as Frank Turner’s band and the Oxford music scene. Meanwhile, Frank Turner talked Million Dead, the future, Fat Mike from NOFX and his hatred of the word “fan”. All this and more will be up in the interviews later this week.

If that’s not all, also check back over the next few days for live reviews of the Preston show, featuring support sets from Dive Dive and the incredibly talented Ed Harcourt, and of course from Frank Turner himself.
