Laura Marling Wins Brit Award

Folk singer Laura Marling won Best British Female at last night’s Brit Awards.

The star showed that talent it still appreciated and recognised in the mainstream scene, beating some huge superstars to win the award.

Marling managed to win despite competition from Cheryl Cole, Paloma Faith, Ellie Goulding and Rumer.
